I have signed up to participate in the after school elective know as D.A.W.G which stands for Dog Awareness Welfare Group and their aim is to collect funds for a sterilization and vaccination for dogs and cats in Sri Lanka (the Colombo and Battamarula area). To achieve this goal they plan on running a food drive to gather needed supplies such as dog food, medicines, soaps, ect... and to hold a movie night to also raise money, the homeroom which brings in the most during the food drive wins free tickets to the movie night.
Action
I have plan on doing quite a few things for Action. I plan on going to the gym with my parents at least 2-3 times a week because there is a gym in the building I live in, I plan to go scuba diving every once in a while because since I have already received my certification last year during the winter holiday, the problem with scuba diving is that first of all it is rather time consuming because it takes a few hours to finish and also it is rather expensive. One thing that I plan on doing is to try and find an archery or shooting range in or around Colombo because i fell that it would be quite enjoyable to do every or every other weekend. And the last thing that i have planned on doing is going golfing every once in a while because both me and my dad have golf clubs and enjoy golfing every once in a while.
Creativity
For the beginning part of this year I cannot really think of any creative thing that I could do except to help with the set design and perhaps the lighting for the secondary play production later this year, but if I do happen to find something that I take an interest into I will definitely do it.
